Shoes Delight

Recently I've really loved these shoes for their comfty-ness & unique color mix. I have seen these made by different brands but I just love the ones Dolce Vita made which happens to be these. This is not meant to be sponsored but instead I'm just expressing how comfortable these shoes are and how they have a unique style. + They are suede :) , although they can get ruined in the rain. Anyways love these shoes, my new fav.
Btw, it's the last friday of the YEAR!

If only...

Someday I wish to own a camera like the one pictured above so then I could capture every special moment that occurs in my life. Everyone has a different perspective on capturing the right moment, everyone has a keen eye, everyone sees something different behind the photo. You know every picture has a story...a meaning...a sentimental value know one else knows besides the photographer...behind it.

OOTD: Fallspiration

{yay for stache earrings!}

A little update...
I know I've been long for like a billion years, but my life has been very very busy with sleepless school nights. Talk about waking up at 5am {the dread :o}. Well I know this shouldn't be an excuse, but I am honestly trying to find time for posting up on the blog. As for now, I am working on few projects for upcoming posts especially since the holidays are right around the corner {seriously they're like here, here}. Anyways, I leave this to the end by posting up a recent outfit I just wore. Can you tell I was really inspired by late fall?

Knit Sweater: Nordstrom
Pants: Zoo{something, something I can't remember}
Loafers: DV by Dolce Vita
Mustache/Moustache Earrings: Francesca's Collections
Person: Me :D lol!

Thanksgiving Delight

*A really really late post
This is very late, but I want to tell you happy thanksgiving! It's very funny how in this particular day many remember to give thanks to what they have or who they have in their life. It shouldn't just be this day that you remember to do these little acts of kindness to each other, giving thanks and all. I'm not trying to say I always give thanks to everyone or everything everyday, but I mean be very thankful for what you have and how you get to live another day with your family and loved ones. Yes, I mean even be thankful for when you wake up at 5:30 am and want to go back to bed when a long day is ahead because you have yet, another day to live. Try to make some time to just appreciate everyone & everything in your life because you never know when you are going to miss that one person{or thing}. As for my thanksgiving this year, I spent it with my family adoring each others company & man oh man, tell me about the delicious food that was there. Anyways, however or wherever you spent your day I hope you had a blessed day creating memories with your loved ones {even to those who don't celebrate it}.
Warm wishes, xx

Rain, Rain

Remember the nursery rhyme that was sang to us as a child when rain came pouring down...?
The line that mostly stuck to me all these years is
"Rain, rain go away..."
And yet it still pops up into my mind with the little symphony that goes along with it, except I love the rain and rather don't wish it to go away. Where I live we don't have so many rainy days so when it does rain everyone takes advantage of the weather and gets all cozed up. So yesterday I went out to buy chocolate covered pretzels{although I know most people don't like them but these are just to die for} and I sat at the corner of my room where my windows meet. This place is perfect when you want to hear the sound of the rain drop or see it, but since it was night nothing could be seen. While working on my thanksgiving break{technically it's not a break when your teachers give you loads of homework & projects} homework, I enjoyed the sweet-salty treat to the end and the moment was perfect to capture.
And that's how I spent my Saturday night...at peace. With nothing more I could ask for. Hope your having a wonderful weekend as I am :).

Hmm...Earth tone colors

On this post I will provide some inspirational pictures that are inspired by Earth-y{again excuse my made up word} colors. These colors are a must, well at least while fall lasts {sorry for the lateness on this post}. I really tried to incorporate these colors into my fall wardrobe, but I ended up noticing I have many bright colored clothes{what can you say when where you live is almost sunny all year round}. I wasn't able to take any Earth toned clothes of mine, but I hope these pictures inspire you to change up the colors for your fall wardrobe :)

{Pale plums & blush colors}

{Deep dark blue-green}

{Look closely at the sky colors...Aaah}

{Typical fall colors cinnamon spice to be exact}

{Pale pastels and brown hues}

{Cool looking candles}

A l' Bibliothèque

Meet the quirky Mr.Moustache-o {new friend I made at the library ;)}
Yesterday I went to the bibliotheque to go study for my coming up exams.
Being in my house is just a distraction from 'studying' {since you have almost everything + internet connection which everyone knows it's distracting} unless you have a special place to, but if your in my situation the best idea to do is to head directly to the library and study and study and study
Well not exactly.
I wish I would have not goofed off and focused
but since I rarely go there to study it was a sort-a
new place for me. Kind of like when you visit somewhere new & just want to make exciting discoveries or memories. <-That was not the only factor, but the library was too silent and I pretty much got bored of studying after a while which is when I sill-ied{excuse my made up word} off...
{Oh boy, history}
{Finally a shot where I actually studied}

My Oh My

And you know what that means???
Heck yeah! cozy sweaters, cardis, knits, boots, scarves, heated headwear,
hot chocolate, foggy mornings, fall earth colors,
candles burning, leaves falling...
Are we in the same line yet?
How about this...my birthday month
ahah! + thanksgiving! {Insert post title here}!

On a little video post

Happy Saturday!
So I've recently been replaying and replaying this music video for "Dreams" by Taken By Trees.
I just have to love the scenery and soft music it has as it vividly takes me back to summer.
If you just take a moment to watch it you will understand what I mean.
And I will leave you to watch  this video and you have a good morning!
It's simply alluring isn't it?

DIY Manila Tags

*This is part of another DIY to follow after this one
but i thought I should post this DIY since holidays
are coming up. So enjoy and I will be posting part 2 soon.
What you will need:
                  You can make your own labels from any office program. You will need cardstock or any other hard duty paper of your choice{mine was natural fiber paper from here} & your downloadable manila tags, here.

 You can use fabric {the best option} but since this was a last minute project I opted for printable designs/patterns I wanted. For example I searched images for vintage flowers pattern {or} fabric etc. Shown above. If you use fabric, it's a bonus because I find it gives the tags a more organic feeling + try using fabric glue.
Steps:
 Cut out the desired manila tag. Cut out the cardstock and measure according to size of manila tag.
 Glue both of them together, unless you printed out your manila tags on cardstock. Then cut out any little scraps sticking out.
 Hole punch the designated area. Cut out your fabric/pattern, position on tag, and glue.
 Also, cut out your desired label and glue on top of fabric/pattern.

For extra detailing, if you are using fabric sew in the fabric with the tag. If you are using a printable pattern, take a black thin pen and draw in seam lines. Then add twine or other string you decided to use & place inside the hole. And hang anywhere, attach it to a gift, or have other creative ideas!
