but i thought I should post this DIY since holidays
are coming up. So enjoy and I will be posting part 2 soon.
What you will need:
You can make your own labels from any office program. You will need cardstock or any other hard duty paper of your choice{mine was natural fiber paper from
here} & your downloadable manila tags,
here.
You can use fabric {the best option} but since this was a last minute project I opted for printable designs/patterns I wanted. For example I searched images for
vintage flowers pattern {or}
fabric etc. Shown above. If you use fabric, it's a bonus because I find it gives the tags a more organic feeling + try using fabric glue.
Steps:
Cut out the desired manila tag. Cut out the cardstock and measure according to size of manila tag.
Glue both of them together, unless you printed out your manila tags on cardstock. Then cut out any little scraps sticking out.
Hole punch the designated area. Cut out your fabric/pattern, position on tag, and glue.
Also, cut out your desired label and glue on top of fabric/pattern.
For extra detailing, if you are using fabric sew in the fabric with the tag. If you are using a printable pattern, take a black thin pen and draw in seam lines. Then add twine or other string you decided to use & place inside the hole. And hang anywhere, attach it to a gift, or have other creative ideas!
