Faded Florals

What you will need...

                                      {the toothpicks are optional}

  1. Fill the nail polish remover cap with nail polish               remover/acetone and place a cotton ball on the nail polish remover so the strong chemicals won't evaporate. Set aside.

2. Paint the base of your nails with something light and wait until they dry completely.

3.Place a dot of each color on your plate {shown in steps 3, 8, & 11}.

4-5. Dip one of the cotton swabs in the nail polish remover and use it to dilute the polish drops. You want to add a few drops of polish remover in the nail polish until it starts to look thin and opaque. 

6. Using a dabbing motion, create abstract flower shapes on each nail. Leave room for the other colors too.

7. Optional: using the toothpick draw a spiral circle going inside the flower to give it more of an effect.

8-13. Apply the other colors too and repeat the optional step 7.

14. Using the same white nail polish dilute it with nail polish remover until opaque and add a thin dot to the center of each flower for the faded look. Apply the top coat.

                 

                                      And voila.
